Forgot two onigiri and a curry bun in fridge at hotel. Had to pay more for the train because I needed an express ticket for the limited express, with my suica. 1800 on top of the suica charge.

Power outage between Hakata and Fukuoka, so delay for trains and my train had to stop several times. Good thing I left early. Kokura station things I found.
Gave in and bought ekiben shaped like a train.

Shinkansen exactly on time. Bag much heavier, harder to put on top railing. Was helped by my seat neighbour.

When it was wet, on the way to Kyushu, everything looked greener. Now it seems so dry.
Trains and buses in Japan using chiming music for announcements. Like music box playing a lullaby.
Found gachapon at Shin-Osaka station. Very big into miniatures. Powerlines, escape stairs, Morse code machines, buildings, shoes, restaurants like ichiran, yoshinoya, chain cafes, etc. Animals in odd poses. Art and anime.

Slogan, seen on train:
‘Orix money or not’
Train stations are a maze designed to not let you out. Department stores and levels and trying to find an elevator or excalator so you don’t have to drag luggage upstairs.

Brands, seen at the train department store:
Nop de nod
Dance with dragon
Pyscho bunny
Crazy busy at the Osaka Nintendo store. Bought a pack of zelda cards, just to say I got something there.
Pokemon centre, One Piece store, Doraemon and train merch. Pokemon Go competition happening. Gachapon once again.
Went to arcade, lights, music. Overwhelming. Also games, claw machines and pachinko all rolled into one. Floors of it. More gachapon as well.
Went to okonomiyaki restaurant. Hot plate on table to keep food warm, but not cooked in front of you. Obviously, it’s not an authentic experience. Disposable bib to wear when eating.
