Travel once more

Spring rolls around but once a year. The islands of Japan celebrate the coming of spring with a marvellous display of pink and white. 2023 brings a year where borders are open and Covid-19 restrictions are relaxed.

It’s been nearly 5 years since I left Japan. Now, I’m returning. Just for a vacation this time, not moving for work. A short 13-day trip, through Kyushu. Focusing mainly on the northern prefectures of Kyushu.

Some highlights from my last time in Japan:

Torii Gate at Hakone
Shrine on Enoshima Island
Garden in Kamakura
Autumn colours at the Tokyo Imperial Garden
Kegon Falls, Nikko
Shrine Path in Nikko
