I’ve decided to do another short thoughts post. I’ve posted enough story today that this should be acceptable.

Impressive Mt Yufu. Not so much when you driven down it.

Sooo many tourists. Korean, Chinese, some European.

Very hungry caterpillar merch

Never ending shopping street.

Weird, funny signs and objects.

Lots of Ghibli merch. Snoopy merch. Hello Kitty Merch. Moomin Merch.

Japanese love to queue. Yufuin is a real tourist town.

Food eaten. Lawson burger and mochi ice cream after dropping off bags. Cheese dog.

At end of street Yufuin Floral village. Fancy buildings. Lots of animals. Cute buildings

Long walk to lake. getting late. Not very impressed by lake.

Cats at the hotel. Free refills.

Hotel room.

First, outside onsens very hot. Too hot. Next outside onsen, ok. Cooler, but not as nice as Kurokawa. Hotel lobby is quite nice.

Dinner: Lawsons burger, fried rice/noodles, kaarage cheese flavoured (I approve, very good), strawberry milk (strawberries in yoghurty milk)

Lots of flowers everywhere.
